Hi

I have a trial version of CommitCRM installed on a Windows 2008 R2 server.
My email is stored in Office 365 E package

I am trying to get SMTP working, but when I click the test button I get an invalid Domain.

I have STUNNEL installed and configured, including the configuration file.

Has anyone managed to get Office 365 working withCommitCRM?

Thanks

James

Hi James,

Please send us your RangerMSP log files using the Help > Technical Support menu in RangerMSP. We will then try to see what's went wrong and recommend on the next steps.

Thanks,
Dina

Hi

This is the stage I have got to. I have done this on 2 Windows 2008 R2 servers with the same result

1) I install STUNNEL- Which is OK
2) I install CommitCRM - run the SMTP Test

The test runs perfect
I can also use the test send email and the message gets delivered

3) I Setup CommitServer as a service
4) I run the exact same test, and it fails with Invalid Domain Name

Thanks

James

I need to install the CRM Client again, as I reinstalled it from scratch.

I will do that now and send the logs

Thanks for the updates. If the SMTP test ran well it probably has to do something with privilege - the RangerMSPServer service runs under the Local System user which is not very privileged... Maybe you can try running it under a Admin account and see if that helps.

In regards to installing the client - simply create a desktop shortcut on your PC to <server>\RangerMSP\Client\RangerMSP.exe and you're done.
