Is there an efficient way to remove duplicate appointments?

To make a long story short I had some sync issues involving a phone, outlook and CommitCRM and now I have duplicates of everything in my appointments prior to 1/10/2012. I realize I could restore from backup but I don't want to do that except as a last resort since there have been multiple tickets, accounts and appointments added since then. I'm not going to go back and delete them individually, there are way too many.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi anolecomputer ,

Restoring from a backup is indeed the best solution for such cases. I realize that you have already entered new Tickets since the duplication, and restoring is not preferable.

You say that only past appointments were duplicated, so perhaps it would be OK to leave these duplicate appointments as-is, since you are not really using them, just for history purposes, and delete manually just let's say, the past month. Then, whenever you encounter duplicate appointments from the older past which cause you confusion, delete them.
