Hi,

I have two choices for adding an item to a contract. - What is best practice ?

Choice 1: Find the contract, and and the charge.
Choice 2: Create a new charge for an account, then choose the contract.
Other ways to do it?.

Will the charge in choice 2, be copied to a new contract, when batch copying ?

Both ways add a Charge record to the Contract.
The only Charges that are copied automatically when the Contract is renewed are the ones added under the 'Charges Contract-Price' tab.
