How can I search for an account by the zip code?

You can either use the quick search option or use a filter.

For a quick search, in the Accounts list window, on the "Find" bar area, instead of "Keyword" search, select "Address: ZIP Code" and type in the zip code in the search box. Then click refresh or hit the "Enter". Note that in the Accounts list you can see the zip code itself in the address column.

Using a filter, you can define a specific zip code search, and save it using a named filter to be easily used next time. In the "Find" area, click the "Filter" checkbox, then the "Filter..." button and the filter window will open. Define the search criteria (Field Name = "Zip Code", "Equals..." and the number) and then save the filter using the "Save" icon. From now on you will be able to select this filter from the filters list.
