looks like the web interface is missing the "close ticket" button that is present in the CommitCRM client... how do we auto close the ticket so that it sets the status to closed, stamps the date/time AND sends the automaged ticket close email? We can certainly do the first two manually but we want a way to do all 3 from a quick close button... thansk!

Edit the Ticket, set its Status to "Closed" and save. Everything will be triggered automatically.

Thanks.

OK -- is there a way to NOT have CommitCRM send the email when we close it? I thought that the automated email only triggered when we clicked the "set ticket to closed" (ctrl+m) and have been re-opening and re-closing manually... didn't know that each time we did this the end user kept recieving the automated closed email... that will get confusing to clients... :-)

In case you have selected to send Alerts to Customers on Tickets Opened and/or Closed events the email will be sent.
The alert is sent to the customer email address/es listed under the Ticket Email Recipients tab. In case you'll empty it using RangerMSP prior to closing the ticket then no alert will be sent.

Hope this helps.
