Normal labour billing & overtime billing on one charge

There are a lot of cases where we spend time during working hours and after hours on a job. In billing we have two separate charges to reflect this. ie: $120 per hour for normal labour and $180 per hour for after hours.

Is it possible to have another field in New Charges where we can specify normal rate and after hours rate? Thus only needing to create one charge.

This will save us a lot of time..

Thanks for asking this. Each Charge record in RangerMSP holds a single rate/billing information and as you already know you cannot includ different billing information in a single Charge record (I don't see this changing any time soon). What you should do is copy the Charge record (one logged for the working hours part) - all the data, description, account, ticket, etc. are all copied and there fore you, then, select the after-hours Item, this will automatically put the off-hours support rate set to this customer. Simply log the after-hours amount and save.
