Forum Notification Options

I posted a question in the forum and selected to be notified daily. I have discovered that I get an email daily even though there are no updates. Is the “Instant Notification” the option that will notify me in the event a reply is posted to my question?

Secondly, is there a way to go in and change my notification option on that particular thread? I see where I can post another reply and in that reply I can select a notification option, but how do I modify my notification selection for the original question/thread ?

Yes, 'Instant Notification' is the option to use if you want to be notified on actual activity i nthe thread.

Once logged into the forum click the 'User CP' at the top of the page. A new page will be displayed, click 'List Subscriptions'. You'll see all threads you are subscribed to. Select the one/s you want to change, and from the actions drop down (says "move to folder", by default) select to change the subscription type to the selected thread/s.
