Generate Proposal, Estimate, Quote

Since there are item Db and Opportunities is there a way to generate a proposal (extimate or quote) through CommitCRM?

This post was modified to update that RangerMSP version 5.7 introduces a new built-in quoting module as part of the RangerMSP application.

Using the new quoting feature you can easily provide your customers with professional quote forms via email.

Welcome and thank you for posting this.

Currently RangerMSP doesn't support structured proposals/quotes. However, it does help you track Sales Opportunities and attach quotes to them.

You can learn more about Sales Opportunities and Sales Management in RangerMSP here.
You can read how to track quotes in RangerMSP here.

Besides, we may offer built-in quoting features in the future (and in this case, we will base it on the Items you manage in RangerMSP). Also in plan to offer a link to dedicated structured quoting product/s.

Thanks. As a note we do not use quickbooks we use simply accounting by Sage so quickbooks modules are of no value to us unless we change.

Quoting is the only thing missing fromCommitCRM. Seems it would not be that hard of work, since the items are already in there. It would work the same as an invoice. Create a quote, then turn it into an invoice, then move it over to Quickbooks...

We use Quotewerks now, but an old version that's not compatible with Win7.
Any time frame on the Quoting module?

We would use Quickbooks for quotes, but the Quotes are so generic, and we don't want technicians and sales people in mucking up the Quickbooks items list.....

As you currently use QuoteWerks, I guess you'll be happy to learn that we are already working with them on an integration between RangerMSP and QuoteWerks.

Besides, we noted the feedback on adding such a module to RangerMSP and we are constantly evaluating our options with this.
