View Full Version : Partial Users unable to view Custom Reports

We’re having some challenges and have poked around CommitCRM to find a resolution.
Essentially we’ve created a Custom Report under the Charges category.
It’s visible by the Admins privilege group, but not the default Partial privilege group.

As an admin we go into Tools > Options and select the Tickets (Admin) tab
We set the Default Detailed Report to the newly created custom report.
As an admin we can see the custom report within the drop-down list (Email Ticket as a PDF attachment)
As a partial user it is NOT visible.

What do we need to do to allow members of the Partial privilege group to see custom reports?

Hi,

Thanks for sending this in.
Any customized Ticket report that you create in RangerMSP will be shown in the toolbar print options, unless the report name includes the word List in the name. If the word List is in the name, then the report will not be displayed in the toolbar print selection.

Since you are talking about a Charge report, then it is imperative that the word Form be included in the report name, in order for that report to be displayed in report dropdown menus. Note that only "Technician Service Form Including Charges" report currently appear in this list, since they are basically "ticket" reports which include charge details. I'm not sure whether any charge report will work properly from the ticket window, but you can add the word "Form" to the name and check it out.

Let us know if this helps.

Regards,
Sherry
